flow testing

Hi Chad,
I have a problem port I would like your opinion on. I have an area of the flow curve that goes a little turbulent on an intake around .550 lift, it does not loose much flow but then continues to gain right up to 1.00 lift.
I have flowed it at 10", 28" and 40" and it does the exact same thing at the same lift and all depressions. Should I be looking at the chamber/ valve seat transition?

Do you have a set of flow balls?

Yes Chad, apart from the slight flow stall, the port behaves fairly well and the balls don't tell me much but I am not an expert using them. What should I be looking for in this situation please?

I would put it at the lift it acts up. Probe the port with a flow ball at 28". If the depression lowers, that is the problem area.

Thanks Chad,
I will give that a try next time and let you know how I go.
